ABSTRACT

As the world is moving fast towards creating common platforms to allow all individuals, institutions, and organisations work together with less and less boundaries, every day, there is a need to build the right understanding and tools development from the educational institution side. It has been proven, we shall see throughout this book, that the education and research systems follow practice and work in a reactive mode to what practice imposes. Most of management and leadership theories fall under this classification. This book does not claim that it has fully gone beyond this norm, rather, it portrays both reactive and proactive to business needs. Being in the fourth industrial revolution in addition to the invasion of technology to affect majority of business sectors, a demand has already been created by organisations and individuals to have new approach and tools to help them lead in a multi-dimensional diversity. This book responds to this call and goes beyond that to prepare for next phase of thinking how to become adaptive and sustainable in a dynamically changing world.
