ABSTRACT
This chapter reveals how researchers tend to communicate within silos. Research, fields, and the matters they impact are better served when findings are shared widely and effectively. Readers are helped to navigate pressures within the field and to find time in practical ways. The term “scrappy” is defined, and readers are encouraged to pursue a research-sharing path that is scrappy and honest. They are alerted to obstacles and the need to balance efforts.
