ABSTRACT
We are the products of our history. We have reasons to hate capitalism but we love our freedom. We enjoy immensely the opportunity that we have as individuals to pursue our own objectives. We have so much wealth that we do not need the terrible repressive laws against theft that were normal only a century or two ago. Either we have a religion which allows us direct access to God so that we can say ‘boo’ to the priest, or we have no religion and recognise the authority of no man as absolute.
