ABSTRACT

Beyond the design and construction stages, the Project Information sets out the basis from which to test and analyse the building in use. This process enables the key areas of success and failure to be understood, highlighting areas of improvement that can be used to inform future designs of a similar size and scope. At 7th stage of the Core Objectives for the project team will be project specific and outlined within each team member’s Schedule of Services. Stage 7 finalises a cyclical approach to the use and production of Project Information to inform Research and Development and Feedback requirements outlining the aspirations and performance requirements of subsequent schemes. The Information Exchanges required during the In Use stage comprise: feedback and updated asset information. The information requirements for the In Use stage are defined at the early stages of the project and outlined within the Employer’s Information Requirements for new-build projects.
