ABSTRACT
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Job Book can be used either on its own or in tandem with the specified companion website, from which one can download editable electronic documents related to the book, free of charge. To use the templates safely and as intended, it is important to refer to the introductory and supplemental guidance and background notes in the book. The templates can be used in conjunction with those included in the RIBA Quality Management Toolkit, which is free to use for RIBA Chartered Practices. The book follows the stages of the RIBA Plan of Work. The activities checklists are supported by guidance notes and standard letters and forms, which can be downloaded from the website. The RIBA Job Book is coordinated with and cross-referenced to other RIBA documents and good practice guides, which together form a suite of RIBA approved practice and guidance references.
