ABSTRACT
In this letter, the wanderer describes his experiences in Hamburgh, a German town, and his conversation with people whom he met in the town. He also narrates his proceeding towards Hanover, where he had some hopes of finding an Englishman whom he had known in England, and who could assist him in obtaining a safe passage for Gertrude.
