ABSTRACT

Fatigued by the perpetual buzz of the evening, I sunk to sleep till near sunrise, when awaking, I quitted my bed, and having hastily dressed myself, descended to the street. The early time of morning afforded me hopes of taking the benefit of the air and exercise without much danger of being seen. The hour was inviting; the Green-Park was sprinkled with a slight shower which had fallen at dawnlight, and I resolved to refresh myself with a walk till breakfast.
