After heaving a deep sigh, which in some degree unburthened her full heart, she returned to the place where she had left her travelling companions. On her entering the parlour, every countenance evinced the predominating opinion of every mind, and all conspired to betray a secret pleasure at that disappointment which wrung her breast with unutterable anguish.
