The manuscript is in the Wordsworth Library, Dove Cottage, Grasmere as MS 1989:161.46 and is a single sheet of unwatermarked white paper, 369 by 225 mm, folded once to make a pair of geminate leaves each 184 by 225 mm, of which all sides are written in blue ink. Some interventions by A. H. Japp have been removed from the transcript. A version has been published in PW, I: 301–5.
