[Loose thoughts on Punctuation]

The manuscript is in the Bodleian Library, Oxford, as MS Eng. Lett. c. 461 f. 114, a small slip of white paper, unwatermarked, written on both sides. The recto carries a passage in extremely faded (perhaps formerly black) ink, on punctuation, written before the fragment was cut from a larger sheet. This has been overwritten, in blue ink, with a paragraph on Professor W[ilson]. The verso was apparently written after cutting.
