[My Mother]

The manuscript is in the Berg Collection of the New York Public Library, where it is catalogued as a single item with the manuscript given in Volume 10 as part of ‘[Manchester Grammar School and Oxford University]’ (pp. 351–9), with which it is not continuous and which may be quite unconnected. It consists of two sheets of white paper. Folio 1 is watermarked ‘J. Whatman 1841’ and is written on both sides; folio 2 is unwatermarked and written on the recto only.
