We pass over a period of several months during which Angelo was indefatigable in his search, and incessant in his endeavours to discover his son. To gain even the remotest intelligence of him, he left no means untried, he ransacked town and country, and offered the most considerable rewards to whomsoever could give even the smallest trace of him.
