ABSTRACT

As with written reflection, spoken reflection is another way to connect what is experienced in class to a learner's personal development. This connection may be conducive to learning, especially in the speaking domain, where attention is needed to understand the affective variables intricately intertwined with the online nature of oral production. Chapter 10 presents procedures and strategies, as well as caveats and options, drawn from theory, research, and practice for practitioners to consider when implementing oral reflection.
