ABSTRACT

Chapter 14 aims to promote the transferability of the practitioner research cases presented in Part III. Designed to dispel trepidation about engaging in practitioner research, it familiarizes readers with the whys, whats, and hows of carrying out research on learner reflection, and guides them in problem-solving challenges commonly encountered. Included in this chapter are strategies for strengthening the rigour and trustworthiness of practitioner research, as well as criteria for judging its quality, before considering some anticipated common challenges as well as strategies for navigating such research.
