ABSTRACT
This chapter offers a way forward for interested students and scholars who want to study related issues of the confluence of colonial legacy and the rule of law. By providing the initial findings from a related study, the chapter offers a glance into the author’s ongoing project on courtroom dynamics and legal systems in Africa. These initial findings of the related study were obtained prior to completing this book. They are provided here in this chapter unfiltered and separated from this book’s research results. They seemed to confirm many of this book’s research results and analyses when the issues in both studies overlap.
