ABSTRACT

This provides the reader with an introduction to William Richard Lethaby (1857–1931), one of the foremost exponents of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. It begins with a brief biographical sketch of the architect, followed by an overview of the methodology employed in the book and its subsequent structure. The chapter elucidates how the author uses a limited occult perspective, to provide a narrow but penetrating examination into Lethaby's affiliation with the occult.
