ABSTRACT

The modern workplace recognises that engaging with the creative potential of human beings and ensuring supportive collaborative work relationships is crucial for the survival and development of the organisation. The author had seen fear affect relationships, health and productivity and organisational culture. However, she had not previously found any single coherent system which described all of this, nor offered a framework with which we might support managers and leaders to help them navigate this landscape of humans at work. This integrative practice is one she brings into her training work, sharing her knowledge and insight and encouraging others to have experiences and deepen the knowledge they have about themselves and their interactions with others, if they are interested to explore ideas. She had decided to use the structure initiated by McCluskey which she uses with experienced and qualified professionals in the caring professions.
