ABSTRACT

Neil Kokemuller suggests that, in an effective business, the role of management is clearly distinguished from that of front-line workers. Managers develop and communicate the overall purpose and structure of the company. Managers also build a collaborative company culture and team atmosphere that makes the line between management and employees closer. The classic organizational management or manager governs the organization from a top down model similar to the military. They decide the corporate policy and expect with the stroke of a pen or the utterance of some words that the organization will naturally fall in line with the transmission. From there the manager formulates the organizational mission, values, goals, strategy and the alignment of the organization. The empowered manager as a result takes sincere steps to ensure that the organization delivers what they promise to those customers. The empowered manager understands that in order to have an empowered organization, the management must also be empowered.
