ABSTRACT

It is critical that reader recognize that the human capital assets within our organization represent the organizational lifeblood and therefore represent the core of the organizational deoxyribonucleic acid ——Empowerment. There is no organization in the global marketplace that can survive without the presence of human capital assets. They are the ones who implement the organization’s values. It is shown as the last level of the Empowerment mind map and represents the contributions of the individual human capital assets to the organization. The industrial age came about because their human capital assets wanted more from life than hours working off the land. They were looking to provide for their families. But in doing so the nature of work changed. The human capital assets became Adrienne Rich’s person who looked in the mirror and saw nothing. The human capital assets were viewed as occupying a time and place assigned the task to build the organization’s products.
