ABSTRACT
The only prescriptive Chapter in the book, the Chapter is the foundation of good advice that rests on the notion that there are few actionable avenues to pursue that can accomplish successful outcomes under both strong intellectual property (IP) regimes (e.g., patents) and weak IP regimes (e.g., outsourced technology). These three actionable paths are: leadership, capabilities enhancement, and integration.
