ABSTRACT

This Chapter is a review of the major constructs that organize causal processes of innovation and its management. These are the mainstream, well-known constructs, and in each case, such as disruptive innovation, the basic idea behind the model and the strengths and weaknesses of the framework are covered. Some theories are still being tested and challenged, as would be expected. Not only do times change, new ideas routinely emerge to address old and new problems. Fintech is an example of this relentless journey into the future.
