ABSTRACT
At the time of delivery of the ship there will be a documentary closing meeting, usually held ashore, at which each party will provide its delivery documents to the other party. To minimise the risk of a document being rejected by a party and to avoid possible delay to delivery on account of a party receiving documents which it has not previously reviewed, it is customary for the seller and the buyer to follow a pre-approval process.
