ABSTRACT
As part of its suite of standard clauses, BIMCO has developed a standard anti-corruption clause for use in charter parties and this, in adapted and abridged form, has been incorporated into Shipsale 22.
Detailed commentary on anti-corruption legislation is beyond the scope of this book but some observations on the provisions of clause 22 of Shipsale 22 are included below.
