ABSTRACT
In the previous sections, we saw that each part of Ea’s message considered so far had a positive and a negative sense. We come now to a part of the message, ina šēr kukkī at XI 46, which has two negative senses. How these interact will be discussed in §§ 13.3 and 13.4, pp. 238–241. In the present section, we are simply concerned with establishing the existence of each.
