ABSTRACT

The analysis of the different theories and models of translation in organization studies was followed by a comparative analysis aimed at identifying key focus points, research themes, key research questions of organizational translation theories/models across theories and models; finding out what influences translation processes according to these theories/models. The analysis shows that authors in organizational translation studies have most often provided answers to the key research questions in ignorance of the existence of answers provided by research streams, perspectives, theories and models in organizational translation studies. The comparative analysis thus contributes to organizational translation studies by presenting the focus points, key themes and issues as well as the main research questions, knowledge gabs across perspectives in organizational translation studies in systematic manner. The comparative analysis of theories and models in organizational translation studies above identified a number of focus points and themes that translation studies researchers in organizational studies to some degree share and ‘look into’ in their research.
