ABSTRACT
This is not an exhaustive summary of Chinese grammar. It is just a summary of the main grammatical concepts which have been introduced in this book. Needless to say, there are always exceptions to the following basic rules. Example sentences are given in pinyin only. Refer to Chinese–English glossary for characters.
