ABSTRACT

Simply hoping and praying that one will experience happiness without effort is foolhardy. They need to work, work, and then work some more at it. The same is true with creating happiness –– it isn’t a one-time job. They must keep at it, one day at a time, for the rest of their life. But, strange as it may sound, that realization can provide them with a great source of happiness. It’s a stark reminder that, yes, this is it. Today is all they have. Tomorrow might be no different or better. Besides, none of them know for certain that there will even be a tomorrow. Nobody is put on this earth to make sure they are happy. Maybe their parents had some responsibility early on. After all, they brought them into this world without their permission.
