ABSTRACT
Zaporizhzhya is built on the wide steppe plains o f South-eastern Ukraine, on both sides on the river Dnepr, about 500 km from Kyiv, the capital city. Until 1921, Zaporizhzhya was a small town called Alexandrovsk and located in Ekaterinaslav.
