ABSTRACT
In this chapter the ideas of information strategy and the lean information system are applied in depth to two of the ongoing cases. The chapter explores the challenges faced by the organisations and shows how the different approach of the intelligent organisation brings the possibility of different and unconventional solutions rooted in the idea of information projects designed to derive value from information held. The reader will be able to apply the ideas to their own organisation and see how benefits can be derived.
