ABSTRACT

Jordan is a 20-year-old college student who has struggled through his first three semesters. The first two semesters, freshman year, were characterized by a mixture of mediocre grades, withdrawals, and F’s. He “completed” fall semester of his sophomore year with an F and three Incompletes. Jordan and his parents came to meet with me in an effort to determine whether or not it made sense for the next semester to be subsidized, based on his uneven academic performance thus far.
