ABSTRACT
This conclusion ties together the preceding chapters and reiterates the significance of scholarly works that treat the journey as a research component in the domain of asylum seeking, and one worthy of examining in its own right. I underline the novel theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions of the book. I conclude with the future of research on asylum journeys and journey of refugees that move beyond the conventional binaries and attributed labels in migration and refugee studies. I open new avenues of focus with novel theoretical and methodological contributions for students and scholars interested in this area of study.
