ABSTRACT
Surveys reactions of citizens, public high school teachers, and church leaders to a 1977 Oregon law allowing five hours a week for released time programs. Attempts to learn subjects* knowledge of law, level of interest for establishing programs, potential impact on high schools, and potential changes in churchschool relationships. Finds that there is
interest but little implementation, with church leaders more in favor than the other groups.
