ABSTRACT

The good news about centerprising leaders is that with them, hackers can keep their organization thriving into the next generation and beyond. Good leadership is how hackers channel the resources to make investments for people to thrive. Good leadership strengthens their core with family unity. Looking around hackers, it’s easy to see that families also have their own style, just as leaders do, with as many differences as commonalities. The same is true of family enterprise. The chapter explores the roles and responsibilities of a centerprising leader and take a look at common traits that will tell us what a successful leader looks like. Inside the family, the collaborative leader who leads by moral authority, role modeling, and cultivating others to perform tends to be effective. Industries are changing at such speed that legal frameworks and government processes struggle to keep up.
