ABSTRACT

For the first five to ten years after young adult graduates from college or graduate school, the world is their oyster. There’s a sense of freedom from the constraints of mandatory education and the strictures of parents. Any singular business leader will always need to coordinate with the family ownership group so they can deploy the resources they need to act on business decisions and carrying out their plans to grow family wealth. Regardless of the type of wealth creator, they must have an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. The explorer knows how healthy it is to gain support outside the “fish bowl” of their own family enterprise. They work hard to create an independent identity, which almost always builds the confidence of their team. The entrepreneur wealth creator will always work best outside the business to create new value based on market opportunity. Watch for this budding talent as early as the grammar school years.
