This chapter outlines general safe handling, storage and disposal information and list specific information about the hazards associated with the chemicals. As with most alternative printing processes many of the chemicals are hazardous and can irritate your eyes, skin and lungs and also burn skin if not handled correctly. A comprehensive list of consumables, materials, equipment and chemicals is provided for printing with chrysotype. In dry area, make sure there's a bench or table at a suitable height to coat paper and for placing the contact printing frame on to check print-out progress. Maintain a temperature in dry space for consistent printing results. The items such as Gloves, Paper for coating and etc. are regularly used during each printing session to weigh chemicals, prepare solutions, coat paper and to protect your hands when handling chemicals.
