ABSTRACT

This chapter reviews how the media operations team uses the content delivery workflow, what files they rely on, and how they are able to respond to unpredictable onsite changes with speed and clarity. One of the primary responsibilities of the media operations team is programming the video cues for an event. The delivery raster is the point in the content delivery Workflow where the content team can make each render more efficient and the delivered file smaller. The content delivery workflow guidelines will also include clear instructions on how to communicate to the media operations team regarding updating files and how to name revisions. The perfect content delivery workflow for one media operations team will not work for all other media operations teams. When using remapping tools on the media server, either delivery format might improve efficiency for the content team or the media operations team.
