ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at the working environment of content creators, motion graphic artists, and media designers for video scenery. It also looks at ways to improve the Content teams’ understanding of scenic design and how to best convey a Content Delivery Workflow to the multiple Content teams that contribute to a single large project. Unlike the theater, a video content designer often works outside rehearsal, outside a collaboration with the other show designers and with very little time to meet the creative goals of the project. A well-prepared content delivery workflow should be easy for the content team to use, and result in files for the media operations team that allows them to navigate the rehearsal process successfully. Depending on the show, the Screens Producer will be in a position to pass notes on content design either directly to the Content team or in discussion with a creative director for an event.
