ABSTRACT
275This chapter contains a body of research on male garments from c1830–1950. I have been undertaking this research from various collections over the last few years. I have included here a selection of photographs, patterns and the detailed measurements taken of coats, jackets, waistcoats and trousers from museums and private collections.
