ABSTRACT
The mafia offer is intended to remove or lessen the effects of the system constraint and demonstrate more value for publishers’ products or services. For sure, add much more value than publishers’ competitors. The presentation publishers make to potential clients is really the key to the mafia offer. The key to remember is that a mafia offer order will be something that publishers’ competition can't—or is unwilling to—match, at least in the short term. One of the keys to the mafia offer is creating a proposal that seeks to maximize publishers’ client's profits, by identifying and focusing on publishers’ client's system constraint. The chapter provides several examples of what mafia offer might look like, but it's important to understand that an expert in Theory of Constraints (TOC) can apply the TOC to virtually any environment.
