ABSTRACT
Production concepts for legitimate theatre productions are almost always intellectual, cerebral, and metaphorically introspective. The production concept for rock concerts and clubs is almost always visceral, bold, and extroverted. The difference in design philosophy between concert/club and legitimate theatre lighting is valid. And moving light fixtures are used to provide spectacular effects in concerts and clubs. Three types of lamps are used in moving light fixtures such as Incandescent tungsten-halogen, encapsulated arc, and light-emitting diode (LED). Aside from fixtures that utilize colored LEDs, remote color changing in most other instruments is accomplished with two basic methods such as color scrollers and dichroic color changers. A metal device used to draw heat away from heat-sensitive electronics and vent heat to the air without the use of fans. From the power supply, a single cable containing both the control signal and 24-Voltage Direct Current power is connected to the color changer or motion control unit.
