ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses IUS and the range of the method. It includes IUS’s efficacy; UKMEC categories; risks, disadvantages and advantages; counselling; loss of efficacy and drug interactions; problems encountered with the method; and fitting and removal of the IUS.
