ABSTRACT

Urgyen-tendzin had waited until he had taken the last fugitives across the Brahmaputra back-water; then he escaped himself. It had been easier for him to travel as a single man and he had followed the Brahmaputra all the way and reached India about a month later. Some of Repön's party, including himself, succeeded in getting away from the Chinese camp and arrived in India some months later, where he is now.
