ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book illustrates theory and practice with the stories of four fictional characters: Eva; Dan; Jas; and Zac. Each character has developed one of the four main attachment styles and is trying to resolve their personal, social and emotional issues. It shows how to increase self-knowledge, work out attachment style and make decisions about what changes can make to increase quality of life. The book looks at the impact of attachment styles on heath, spirituality, pets and the environment. It focuses on feeling good, because we all have times when we put up with feeling mediocre or bad, because we have simply forgotten what it is like to feel good.
