ABSTRACT
In the second chapter, the author discusses the changes of the intergenerational relationship from the perspective of history, from the traditional Chinese “filial piety” and its decline due to the west wind “knocking down kongjiadian [Confucianism]” in modern times, to the “rebellion” of the Red Guards “going to the mountains and countryside” in Mao Zedong’s era.
