ABSTRACT
The exploration of our model of design constraints is completed by looking at the function of constraints. These can be ‘radical’, ‘practical’, ‘formal’ and ‘symbolic’. Each of these is introduced and explored. We examine the different impacts each can have on the design process.
The overall model is now examined and ways of using it to progress a design process are explored.
