ABSTRACT
Using the model of design constraints to navigate around the design process is one of the main features of this chapter. Both starting and continuing a process are explored. Ways of using the model to find a way out of a blocked situation are discussed. Using the model to check the comprehensiveness of a design approach is introduced. We revisit the idea of design as a form of integration and explore how the model can both help and hinder this process.
