ABSTRACT

This chapter presents our understanding and analysis of the data collected from the two tools of EUM-I and EUM-O from more than 100 organizations and over 5,000 individuals. The chapter begins with part 1, which offers an analysis of EUM-I data and six themes that summarize the Indian manager’s pulls and role taking. Part 2 offers an analysis of EUM-O data and its six themes. Part 3 takes both these data sets together, looks at complementarities and contradictions and culminates into a summary of the profile of the Indian manager. The chapter is replete with data tables and data analysis, offering themes and understandings as working hypotheses.
