ABSTRACT

There is now a whole family of Geac mini-computers, ranging from the desk-top System 2000 to the large and powerful System 9000. The family is totally compatible at the lower end of the range, making it relatively simple to upgrade from one system to the other, or to run more than one machine in a multiple configuration. However, the Concept 9000 is an entirely different system, for which new software has been developed, and certain features designed for that system will never be available on alternative machines. It is, however, completely upward compatible from the other systems.
