ABSTRACT
This chapter, “Conclusions”, draws some reflections and generalizations from the multidisciplinary investigation conducted in the book on the corpus of food blogs. First, some final, generalizing remarks are presented on the results of the study, as well as on the nature and specific characteristics of food blogs as emerged from the investigation of the UK-FBs corpus. Then, the chapter discusses the limitations of the study, such as the selection of a relatively limited group of food blogs, the choice of investigating blogs written only in English, consequences in the selection of the specific methodologies, and so forth. The chapter ends with some reflections on the practical usages and applications of the analysis conducted in the book. Several indications on the direction of the author’s future research, as continuation of the work conducted in the book, are also presented as they emerge during the discussion of the results of the research and its applications.
