ABSTRACT

One thing that we’ve not really looked at yet is adding ambience to your game. This can act as the foundation to the mix – once you get the ambience right, everything else can begin to sit together.

This chapter starts by looking at how to capture and record your own ambiences, before putting them to use in the game.

We’ll also look at how to set up your ambiences so that they can be emitted from multiple locations in the Scene.
